The quarry opened in 1997 and employs 9 workers.
It extends for an area of 70 hectares.
It produces a Second Choice material because of the coloring variations and red/black concentrations.
In the international market the Second Choice is known as TSK while the First Choice as TS or TL.
The leading port is Turku.
